Family vision
The way that cacao connects people and their hearts together, it connected Familia Cacao. Students of Mayan spiritual guide Tata Walter came together in a course and connected their hearts through the medicine of cacao. They realized the need of this medicine in the Western world - to create a bigger connection, a stronger union and to help people heal and open their hearts.
Playfully they said that it would be meaningful to share cacao ceremonies in Europe as a family. And this is an example of the manifestation power of the ceremonies and cacao, because this dream has become reality within three months.
Walter’s teachings represent the ancient Mayan wisdom and culture around cacao, ceremonies and the four elements. Experiencing a traditional Mayan Cacao Ceremony encourages you to proccess your emotions, to open your heart and to heal the past. It connects you with your true purpose.

Mayan Spiritual Guide, Cacao Ceremonialist, and Mayan Cosmovisionist
Tata Walter comes from the indigenous Kaqchikel tribe: one of the remaining tribes of traditional Mayan civilization in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. A place that breathes spirituality, cacao and ceremonies through the DNA of the lands.
Tata Walter has received a special gift from his ancestors to work with the sacred fire, the 4 elements, and the medicine of cacao. He has the permission of his teachers to share the Mayan Wisdom.
People from his tribe and seekers from all over the world come to Tata for ceremonies and to study about Mayan spirituality, Cosmovision, cacao and fire.
Walter has been traveling through Europe with his team Familia Cacao in 2022 and 2023 to spread the Mayan teachings. Now he is back in Guatemala, to take care of his responsibilities for the community there.
